It's a gimmick that some people use

And sometimes it's a tune that everybody knows

I'm a comedian and I don't know much
I could talk about pop culture, too
people like pop culture 'cuz it distracts them
It helps them forget about their own stupid problems

And then there's that part where I
talk over the song like I'm going to say something important but really I'm just trying to get a laugh

that I won't be embarassed of

But what's the point of any of this if I'm just gonna sell soap
You know that's what comedians ultimately do
When they're on network television

So I could afford the soap I was selling to you

Maybe i'd just be allergic to it

I just want to make money so i'll just
I'll just use this tune to fool you
and my song doesn't need to be perfect I just need to show you that I play the piano
It doesn't even need to rhyme
It just needs to make you smile
